A Thing For Shells- Lance Icarus

We all know the story. You're miles ahead of the pack in Mario Kart DS, the finish line is only a few yards away. Suddenly, a blue shell hovers above you as if to say "The next two seconds are for prayer, forsaken one." The blue shell hits and you're stopped dead in your tracks. No problem, you're so far ahead it shouldn't matter. That's until a red shell hits you and stops you AGAIN. That's when Peach passes you and you realize that a great evil has been let loose. An evil that ties the strings of fate together into a pattern that turns any game of skill into one of chance. If you win, it is because an omnipotent force outside your control willed it so.

This great evil goes by the name Rubber banding. It's evil is pure.
