Nerds of a Feather - Lance Icarus

Emerald City Comicon is an event any self respecting comic book/gaming nerd should be attending. Cheap tickets along with some of the coolest and more diverse selection of genres in all of comicdom. Yes, I totally said comicdom.

The thing that shocked me the most from the convention is the huge respresentation of webcomics. Sure you had your Penny Arcade and your PvP, but other great comics like Starslip Crisis, Weregeek, SNAFU, and Cool Jerk were also representing. It's incredible how the comic community seems to be making a slow transition over to a web based distribution system. It's really a cool feeling being apart of that genre even if we weren't representing myself.

I've started a new job and have three classes to boot, but I pledge to keep writing a weekly script that shall be masterfully turned into yet another +1 comic. Hope to see you next week!
